References
1nigmOttama sAma - According to ‘karnAtaka sangIta SAstra’ by SrI AS Panchapakesa Iyer, while Rk and yajur vEda contain only three svara, sAma veda contains all the sapta svara. Therefore, from musical point of view, SrI tyAgarAja considers sAma vEda as the acme of vEda (nigamOttama).

2panca vaktraja - The five faces of Lord Sankara are ‘sadyOjAta’, ‘aghOra’, ‘tatpurusha’, ‘ISAna’, ‘vAmadEva’. tamizh saint tirumUlar states that Lord Sankara has one more face, ie., ‘adhOmukham’.

The Five basic sounds of mridangam - tha, dhi, thom, nam and jem, have come from the five faces of Siva--Isana, Tatpurusha, Aghora, Vamadeva and Sadyojata.

The Five tALa were said to have originated from five faces of Lord Siva: From Vama deva - Chach chatputa tala; Sadyojata - Chaa cha puta tala;Aghora - Shatpita putrika tala; Tatpurusha - Sampadveshtakaa tala; I sana - Udghatta tala.

4 - vidaLita kAlam - Refers to - story of mArkaNDEya - Siva saved mArkaNDEya from the clutches of death (yama). tirukkadavur is kshEtra where this episode is stated to have taken place.
